  • Are you keen to pick up certified ElderCare skills to earn extra income?
  • Do you need ElderCarers to assist you to take care of your elderly while you are not at home?

The Community ElderCarer Programme hopes to give our residents the opportunity to learn new skills and earn extra income. It also hopes to serve as a convenient and affordable avenue for families who may not have the time to take care of their elderly at home.

How Do I Become a Community ElderCarer?

To qualify, you need to be

  • A resident of the South West District District
  • 25 to 65 years old
  • Physically healthy and able
  • Not engaged in full-time employment

You will be given certifiable training in ElderCare by our partners. After your training, the South West District will assist to match you to residents who may need such services.

How do I Apply for a Community ElderCarer?

Register your interest with us and we will assist to match you to a trained Community ElderCarer. Please be informed that matching is based on the availability of ElderCarers at time of application.
