Saving our Environment
Corporations have played a major part in helping the South West CDC promote a pro-green and eco-friendly South West District. We welcome participation from companies which believe in sustainable development and in preserving Mother Earth, starting right here in Singapore.

100,000 Native Plants @ South West � Rooted In Your Community is a three-year community gardening initiative in partnership with community and corporate partners to restore the natural heritage of Singapore by planting 100,000 native trees in the South West District.This project involves community partners such as schools, grassroots organisations, the National Environment Agency, National Parks Board, Eco 4 The World and corporate sponsor Shell Singapore.

Clean & Green Week celebrations go creative at Beyond Clean & Green @ South West. This annual recycling and public health carnival, which emphasised good public hygiene practices, sought to engage youths through interesting activities such as a rubbish bin art and a recycling robot competition. The event involved corporate partners Chimei Group, ICI Dulux, Elpmis International Pte Ltd and Lot 1 Shopping Centre.
