INTRODUCTION
ECo Energy Auditors @ South West is a volunteer-based programme with an incentive scheme to monitor energy consumption of participating households and advise them on energy-efficient habits over a period of three months, developed by South West Community Development Council (CDC), Philips Lighting Singapore, National Environment Agency [NEA (SWRO)], ITE College West and Koh Kok Leong Enterprise Pte Ltd.
2 This initiative is also part of the Environment & Community (ECo) Plan South West's long-term efforts to encourage more households to reduce energy consumption and build a sustainable and "cool" home for all in the South West district. Participating households will be entitled to take part in the South West-Philips 10% ECo Challenge and earn an incentive for energy saved during the audit period.
