NTUC FAIRPRICE FOOD VOUCHERS

Benefits

These vouchers are given in place of or to supplement financial assistance to the needy.

Who Can Apply

Granted on a needs basis.


SOUTH WEST DISTRICT SHORT-TERM FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME

Benefits

Provides interim financial assistance or NTUC FairPrice Food Vouchers to help needy residents tide over their difficulty. Usually granted for a period of between one to three months.

Who Can Apply

Granted on a needs basis.


EYEWEAR @ SOUTH WEST

Benefits

Provide free eye screening and eyewear vouchers (if required) for school-going children and senior citizens of needy families.

Who Can Apply

Needy families living in the South West District with children of school-going age or senior citizens aged 50 years and above.


POWER UP @ SOUTH WEST

Benefits

Provides interim assistance via Pay-As-You-Use vouchers to help low-income families whose utilities are disconnected or are facing disconnection.

Who Can Apply

Needy residents living in the South West District who face disconnection of their utilities by SP Services


SOUTH WEST WATER VOUCHER SCHEME

Benefits

Provides interim assistance via Water Vouchers to help low-income families to defray water-related arrears. Scheme promotes self-help and ownership by requiring residents to install water-saving devices.

Who Can Apply

Needy families living in the South West District who face disconnection of their utilities by Public Utilities Board.


UPSKILL THE UNSKILLED

Benefits

1st Tranche (Completion of First Day of Generic Training) $50 Transport Vouchers  2nd Tranche (Completion of Fifth Day of WSQ Training)  $50 Transport Vouchers and $100 Food Vouchers

Who Can Apply

Employed / Unemployed Singapore Citizen 2. Residing in South West District 3. Earning Basic Monthly Wage of $2,500 & below 4. 'O' Level & Below** 5. Willingness to work with CDC's career consultants to complete suitable training roadmap.


KIDS-UP @ SOUTH WEST

Benefits

Provides one-time start-up grant of $100 for students on the Kindergarten Financial Assistance Scheme to defray cost on purchasing necessary school items.

Needy kindergarten students


MEALS SERVICE @ SOUTH WEST

Benefits

Provides affordable cooked meals for the needy who are unable to prepare their own meals at home due to physical or intellectual disability.

Who Can Apply

Needy elderly, disabled and / or immobile who are unable to prepare own meals at home.
